Jessica K. Allen, Partner, comes to RGP with the merger of RGP and Pfefferle Kane LLP in January 2025. Jessica started as an associate with Pfefferle Kane in 2008 and was made Partner in 2016. Originally from Stillwater, Minnesota, Jess attended the University of Wisconsin before graduating from Hamline University School of Law.
Prior to joining Pfefferle Kane LLP, Jessica honed her legal analytical skills, clerking for the Honorable Mary E. Hannon in the Tenth Judicial District for the State of Minnesota. She also gained valuable legal experience during law school through legal clerkships with the State of Alaska’s Attorney General’s Office and the St. Paul City Attorney’s Office.
Jessica's practice areas include subrogation, construction law and insurance defense, first-party insurance coverage issues, and fire and large loss investigations. Her diverse practice has allowed her to manage and resolve claims of all sizes and types, both on defense claims and in subrogation matters. She is also the author of several papers related to civil litigation and the insurance industry. Jessica likes to play golf and enjoys traveling. She has three sons, and they keep busy with sports and activities in the Elk River area.
